I am excited to have this opportunity to teach Sixth Grade! I ask that you be patient with me as a learn all the new technology tools I will be using this year. Know that my doors are always open to help your child if he or she has a problem and/or question. I not only want to hear all their achievements and adventures; but I also want to hear their trials and tribulations. I'm a good listener! The best way to reach me is via the email (jraczkowski@lewispalmer.org) or a written note. I will do my best to get back to you in a timely manner.
Here is background information about myself: I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in 2001. I taught pre-kindergarten for five years in the surrounding Phoenix areas in private sectors. I moved to the Colorado Springs area right after my husband and I got married in July 2006. In order to become more familiar with Colorado's educational system, I did a lot of substituting before receiving a full-time teaching position. I worked in Academy School District 20 as a full-time kindergarten para-professional for one year. Then, I found my way to Prairie Winds Elementary School in 2007, and I have been here ever since. I taught preschool and pre-kindergarten for 5 years. Now I have this awesome opportunity to teach your child earth science. Currently, I am continuing my education through Colorado College. I am hoping to receive a master's degree in reading. I am crossing my fingers that I have one more summer left, full of course-work until I can walk down the aisle with a diploma in my hand. :O) With this being said, if anyone is interested in extra tutoring for your child in reading and writing, I would be more than happy to talk to you further. | ||||||||||
